A Snapshot of My Current Now

Good Morning -

So, things are better in that I remembered to make a Virgen last night, which is progress from the previous night.

The picture you see is from some home decor magazine story about a family that bought a vacation home but found it in disarray (see above) and then used the wonderful people at aforementioned home decor magazine to make it up pretty again.

The picture you see is also a fairly accurate image of what our Now looks like. We've taken apart a lot of things in order to sort/discard/keep/trash/pack them but not everything has found a home yet, so our living room looks like...well, I was going to say that it looks like a bomb went off in it, but we've had 5+ years of visuals of what it looks like when a bomb goes off in a home and I just don't feel comfortable anymore using that phrase lightly to describe my easy mess. In the Land of Priorities, my mini-drama about moving is nothing to what the people living in war experience.

So - my place looks like the image above.

In a week it needs to look really different than that.

Let's see how that goes.

Here's to taking things apart and putting back together only what you still need. Here's to packing being done. Here's to moving being done.
